커피 리뷰에서 로스트 매거진 선정 올해의(2016이니, 내년의 라고 해야 할까요?) 로스터리 로 선정된 캐나다의 프로펠러 커피입니다.

This is a big juicy, fruity, sweet & winey coffee. It is exceptionally smooth with flavours of cherry, grape vanilla & blueberry.
El Apostol is an exceptional naturally processed coffee from producer Steven Vargas.
Geoff had the opportunity to meet Steven and his family and see his farms this past March.
Steven is a passionate 5th generation coffee farmer. His family were pioneers and had some of the first farms in this area.
All his coffee is milled literally right in his backyard at his mill called “Don Sabino.” This mill is very new and Steven is working to improve it’s efficiency so that he can increase production for subsequent years.
This year only 40 bags of specialty coffee were produced (about 600) pounds, most of which he stored in his house as you can see from the photos.
Steven is constantly trying to produce new and better coffees using different varietals and different processes.
He in the process of replacing a huge number of plants – cutting down catimor and replacing with SL28, geisha and catuai.
Steven is an innovative and exciting producer to watch. We look forward to seeing what coffees he will be producing in the next few years.
